It's been a super busy Thanksgiving week but I'm almost done with Iron Flame. All I'm going to say at this time is WHAT?!?!?!??!?!

Stay tuned for full review within the next day or so...

Coraline by Neil Gaiman

So, I took a quick break from "Fourth Wing" to read a treasured favorite.. "Coraline" by Neil Gaiman. Now, when I say "treasured favorite"... I'm talking about the movie. I must say I'm pleasantly surprised with how different the book and movie are. I'm happy to see that there was much more content in the book. It was weird **minor spoiler alert for those who saw the movie and have not read the book** that there is no character named Wyborne- that character seemingly was made up just for the movie. I'm not mad at it though... I liked Wyborne for the movie and the book had enough content that it didn't matter that he was missing. I do recommend.

Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros

I jumped the bandwagon. Yes, yes I did and I'm never jumping off. Guys... I haven't felt this way about reading a book since Harry Potter when I was 10 years old. (hush, I'm aging myself)

The way I absolutely sobbed in some places 😭😭 (iykyk) I truly cannot say enough about this book. I don't believe in giving spoilers but I will say, in my personal opinion, this book had everything a book should have. It has fantasy, mystery, rise, fall, death, honor, heartstrings being pulled... it's endless. The emotions are endless. I had to cry after closing this book just because of the adrenaline crash, and I loved every second of it. I have already started "Iron Flame"... I can't wait and I'm equally terrified that the series is almost over for me, even if it's only temporary. Everything I read online tells me that the third book is going to come out "sooner than we think".. what if I think tomorrow? Can we get that fast tracked RY?

 Uuuunpopular opinion buuuuut -

I had to DNF the first book in Crescent City. WHY? Because my brain just simply cannot get past the fact that there is so much technology. I gave myself 150 pages before I decided to DNF it. I really tried, guys. & look, I LOVED ACOTAR and I guess I was going into something similar here but I was quite disappointed. Not to say anything bad about SJM; She's amazing and her writing style is choice, but I just couldn't get behind Bryce and all of her unrelatable messiness and the HUGE occurrence in the first hundred pages (iykyk) I may come back to this later but I just can't stomach this for now. It's put me in a full on reading slump for a week straight. I can usually devour a book in a day and a half, sometimes just a few hours... but I think I should have taken my sign from this one a few days back. I'm done for now. Moving on tooooo.... *drumroll*

Fourth Wing. Yes, yes, I know. I'm late. But better late than never, right?

Okay, so, here's the deal. I'm about to embark on a journey into the magical world of Crescent City by Sarah J. Maas. 🌙✨ Diving into a trilogy with a hefty first book, 799 pages and 97 chapters, is a bit risky when there are just a few weeks left in the year and I still have THIRTEEN books left on my reading goal for the year, but I have to roll the dice with CC.

I can't resist the allure of another Maas-terpiece (ACOTAR was so incredible) and the promise of adventure, magic, and intrigue has me hooked already. Here's to late nights, strong coffee, and losing myself in the pages of a world where anything is possible. *cheers*

Wish me luck on the newest literary escapade!

Where the Library Hides - Isabel Ibanez

** spoiler alert ** I went into this book so excited— but in the end, there were things I personally couldn't get past. As far as the pl...
